Locals may be familiar with commonly recognized area landmarks such as Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale or Tom’s Thumb Trailhead (just a short walk from Storyrock).

How large is the community?

At completion, Storyrock will span approximately 462 acres. It runs adjacent to 30,000 acres of the McDowell Sonoran Preserve and is designed to blend into the environment with over 50% of Storyrock’s acreage dedicated to open space and natural wildlife corridors.

What type of homes, and how many homes will be built in the community?

Current phased plans allow for up to 443 homes on approximately 300 acres; lot sizes will vary from approximately 1/3 of an acre to over 1 acre in size. Some of the nation’s top luxury homebuilders will bring their larger, spacious single-family home designs that take full advantage of the 360-degree views and outdoor engagement with nature.

Will Storyrock be gated?

The main entrance gate to Phase 1 of Storyrock will be located on Ranch Gate Road just east of 128th Street. There will also be entrance gates off of Alameda Road and for future phases.

What are Storyrock's community amenities?

With 30,000 acres of natural preserve running alongside the community, Storyrock residents will enjoy access to the established trails of the McDowell Sonoran Preserve, spacious wildlife corridors and carefully maintained common areas.

What are Storyrock's HOA fees?

Storyrock’s well-designed community perfectly embraces nature as its key amenities. Community HOA fees are anticipated to be in the $150 - $200 per month range and will cover maintenance of the entry and common areas.

Which public services will be offered at Storyrock?

Storyrock will be serviced by the City of Scottsdale, Cave Creek and County police, fire and EMS departments with stations near by for quick response time and transport to several of the area hospitals and medical facilities. Public utilities are provided by the following entities:

How close is the nearest trailhead access?

The McDowell Sonoran Preserve offers over 150+ miles of trails, with 7 trailheads. Tom’s Thumb Trailhead, one of the most popular, is the closest — only a short walk from Storyrock. Storyrock homeowners will enjoy access to the established trails at the Preserve.

What are the anticipated home costs at Storyrock?

Modern homes, designed to meet today’s desire for open floor plans and elegant casual living will be offered at Storyrock, with pricing anticipated to start in the low $900s.

When will the homes at Storyrock be available for purchase?
